Data science for teaching and learning

About me

I am a Ph.D. student in the DELTA program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Previously, I earned my master’s degree in educational measurement from Beijing Normal University. My research interests are how digital learning environments can support children in becoming self-regulated learners. I am also interested in introductory computer science (CS1) education. My dissertation is about how sequential analysis methods, e.g., sequential pattern mining, lag-sequential analysis, and process mining, can help us understand students’ learning behavior.

Here is my CV.

I’m looking for a faculty job in China. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to share information. Thank you!
