About me

I am an Associate Professor at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence in Education at South China Normal University. I earned my Ph.D. in the DELTA program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and my master’s degree in educational measurement from Beijing Normal University. My research interests are how AI can support teachers in mastering instructional skills and children in becoming self-regulated learners. I’m also interested in learner modeling techniques and sequential analyses for educational process data.
